Brick or Treat, 18 October to 3 November, Legoland

Your little one can build her own Lego pumpkin, dance at the monster ball, watch a ‘spooky puppet’ and enter the fancy dress competition at this Legoland Halloween-themed extravaganza.

Disney on Ice Celebrates 100 Years of Magic, 22 October to 2 November, Birmingham

Starring over 60 unforgettable Disney stars, from Mickey Mouse to Pinocchio, this all-singing all-dancing show is perfect for the whole family. While tickets are a little more pricey than you would normally spend on a day out, it’s a treat your little one won’t forget anytime soon.

Feed the Birds, 27 October, Marston Vale

Get your little interested in wildlife by taking her to feed the birds at the forest of Marston Vale this half term. She’ll be able to help make a feeder herself at then take it home for the garden. Booking is essential and costs £2.50 per child.

Various magical events, 24 October onwards, Stockled Park

From a disco on ice, to a wizards den and craft area, there’s lots going on at Stockled Park over the next few months. Each activity cost from £1 – check out the website for more information.

The Big Draw 2014, 1 October to 2 November, across the UK

Offering thousands of (mainly free) drawing activities across the country, The Big Draw 2014 is a brilliant way to encourage your toddler’s creativity. There are events held at museums, outdoor spaces, libraries and much all over the UK – simply use the site’s map to find events near you.

Puppet making, 28 October, Museum of London

Your child can put his creative skills to work at this puppet-making workshop, suitable for children aged one and upwards. He’ll have the chance to make his own beast puppet and play with it together in the galleries at the museum.

Meet Pingu, 29 October, National Railway Museum

Pingu has planned five appearances at the National Railway Museum, giving your little one plenty of opportunity to meet the loveable penguin. Your tot will also be able to take part in art and craft activities and enjoy the outdoor play area.

Baby explorers, 28 October, University of Manchester

If you live in or around Manchester, this free event is one to put in the diary. Aimed at babies won aren’t yet walking, there’ll be sessions in sensory play and interactive story telling that your tiny tot will love.
