The Doona hybrid car seat is now safe to use on airplanes

The Doona has been FAA approved, meaning this is an ideal solution for traveling on holiday with your baby.

More and more people are going on holiday abroad with their babies and toddlers, but experts say that young children, restrained with a lap belt only or held in their parents’ arms, are the most unsafe passengers on the plane.

Flight safety experts encourage parents to take the highest safety measures and use an approved car seat to restrain the child throughout the flight.

Now approved by the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration), the Doona car seat is the ideal solution for air travel. 

Doona’s integrated wheels makes the whole airport experience more convenient and less strenuous, as you don’t have to carry it. Your car seat can be pushed from the car, through checking in, during duty free shopping, to departures, through to the boarding gate and finally straight on to the plane.

Even better, it is designed to fit down the aisle of the plane, so you can even wheel it straight to seat. Your baby can then be safely secured in their car seat and you can enjoy the flight in comfort.

For airlines that don’t allow car seats, you still don’t need to check in the Doona car seat. The Doona travel bag will keep it safe in the overhead locker during the flight.
