Pregnant Sam Bailey Says She's Terrified Of Miscarriage

The X Factor winner has admitted her fears over pregnancy.

Sam Bailey, who announced her pregnancy last week, has revealed she’s terrified of losing her baby.

The X Factor winner miscarried four years ago while performing live on stage and the singer says she’s nervous about it happening again.

‘I'm scared every day that I'll lose the baby,’ the 36-year-old singer told the Sunday Mirror. ‘It's a horrible feeling so I need reassurance. I've been there before and I know how hard it is.

‘At the time when I was pregnant with Tommy, I had no idea I was carrying his twin as well,’ said Sam. ‘It was only after the miscarriage that I found out I had lost a child and it hit me really hard.’

This will be Sam’s third child with her husband Craig. The couple are already parents to Tommy, eight, and Brooke, five, and chose to announce the news of their surprise pregnancy via Twitter last Thursday. Sam uploaded a photo of her first scan along with the caption ‘Meet Peanut’.
