Did Kate Middleton And Prince William Miss Prince George’s First Crawl? Royal Baby ‘Decided To Start Crawling’ At 8 Months

As a busy working mum, you may have had to make your peace with the fact that you might not always be there for all your baby’s firsts.

But we bet Kate Middleton and Prince William are a little bit gutted that Prince George decided to pick a time when they were away on holiday to start experimenting with crawling.

According to reports, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were in the Maldives earlier this month when their eight-month-old son started crawling.

The Royal tot was staying with Kate’s parents, Carol and Michael Middleton, in their Berkshire home when he apparently chose to crawl for the first time.

How typical is that? Turns out the third in line to the throne can be just as stubborn about doing things his own way as any other baby.

But the Royal couple still have plenty of other firsts to look forward to, as a source told Us Weekly.

‘William and Kate are excited about the many milestones ahead – George already has a tiny tooth coming in. And his cheeks are chubbier than ever!’

We imagine proud granddad Michael got plenty of snaps of his little grandson on all fours to show Kate and William too – he took the first official portrait of the baby, after all.

There’s also next month’s Royal tour of Australia and New Zealand coming up, when the couple will be taking their little one halfway across the world to visit 13 major cities and show him off to the Commonwealth countries.

The three-week tour starts on Monday 7th April in New Zealand and ends on Friday 25th April when the family fly home from Australia.

They will be taking their new Royal nanny Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo with them to look after George while they carry out their engagements.

How did you feel about your baby’s first milestones? Would you be upset if you have missed any? Share your experiences below.
