Whether it’s your mother-in-law, the man at the petrol station or the granny you bump into in the park, when people clap eyes on your shiny newborn there are some classic lines you can guarantee you're going to hear.  How many of these sound familiar?

There’s something about delivering a small person that leaves you fielding questions on everything from dilation to what your midwife was like. And that’s just next-door’s gardener.
