Each month, Childs Farm's resident skincare expert will be tackling all your skincare concerns and giving you the correct know-how, to ensure the whole family has healthy and gorgeous-looking skin.
This month's instalment discusses your little one's sun care and how best to keep them protected this summer.
Keeping children safe in the sun:
- It’s important to always be using suncream between March and October, as those are the months where UV risk and skin cancer risk are at their highest.
- The general rule of thumb is to use two teaspoons of suncream to cover the head and neck area, and then two tablespoons for the rest of the body.
- It is crucial that children wear a hat that covers their ears and neck, and that they are also encouraged to wear sunglasses and a UV suit if they are out swimming.
Not only does Childs Farm 50+ spf sun spray provide very high sun protection, but the winning formula is also water-resistant which is perfect for little ones playing in the paddling pool this summer. The sun lotion protects young and sensitive skin from UVA and UVB rays, whilst keeping skin moisturised and hydrated.
