It seems like anything Kate Middleton can do, Prince George can do better.
Thought the Duchess of Cambridge was a trendsetter, after every outfit she wears for public events sells out and sparks copycats?
She's not the only Royal with a certain sartorial influence as Prince George's cute blue jumper, worn for the family's Mother's Day photo, has inspired parents across the UK.
Kate dressed George in a personalised top for the offical pic, and clothing retailer My1stYears.com have since announced that they've sold out of pale blue jumpers.
The comfy tops, that carry baby names in white lettering just like George's, sell for £25 on the baby clothing website and more than 1200 have been snapped up this week.
Director of My1stYears.com, Daniel Price said: 'Personalised baby gifts have grown tremendously in popularity over the last five years and this photo certainly gives it the Royal seal of approval.
'The demand took us by surprise. We weren’t expecting to see a shot with Prince George wearing a jumper with his name and our similar jumper sold out quickly. Luckily we were able to restock to fulfill orders, but it’s since sold out again.
'It seems the young prince has inherited his mum’s knack as a trendsetter and anything he’s seen wearing is likely to fly off the shelves.'
The real deal, worn by George, was actually a cashmere sweater by Corgi Hosiery that was given as a gift to Prince Charles.
