A survey, conduced by fashion and lifestyle brand Paul Frank, has discovered that the majority of UK parents believe their children are more fashion conscious than ever before. In fact, 60 per cent of the 2,000 polled parents think that their child is more into fashion than they were at the same age.

One in five parents believe that their child’s fashion sense is inspired by them, while the remainder of those polled think that their little one is influenced by what their friends wear.
Just under half of the polled parents also believe that their child dresses faster when they choose their own outfit and 68 per cent of kids are likely to decide what they want to wear on their own.
This increase in fashion-forward tots could be inspired by the huge amount of well-styled celebrity kids – dubbed the ‘Harper Beckham effect’. The results found that 44 per cent of parents think their child prefers bright and colourful clothes while 20 per cent think they prefer subtle darker clothers.
The survey also looked at how parents like to shop and showed that 64 per cent of parents are happy to buy kids clothing online.
Recently, Prince George stole the fashion crown from his own ever-so-chic mum and was named best-dressed royal – at the tender age of 11 months old. And Victoria Beckham tweeted a pic of her two-year-old daughter Harper’s first fashion design attempt.
