There’s nothing better than a baby-meets-designer clothing range – especially because they’re actually affordable, unlike most high-end gear
If you’ve always secretly been longing to dress your baby in some incredible Dior-esque outfit without the jaw-dropping price tag, then there is a way. Enter, designer collaborations.
And we’ve been privy to some amazing ones. Top designer names have teamed up with top high-street baby brands and have produced some ah-mazing collections.
Here are our recent faves…
DVF x Gap
Bringing her signature prints and pops of colour to Gap Kids and Baby Gap, Diane von Furstenberg collaborated with the high street shop for a second time this year.
‘This time it is all about adventure, with the same attention to color and print,’ said the designer. ‘I think the result is playful and perfect for the little explorers of the world.’
CYBEX x Jeremy Scott
American designer Jeremy Scott joined forces with CYBEX to create a very loud, colourful and unique range. Jeremy took pizza and other fast-food classics and transformed them into adorable comic characters featured on six products – a 3-in-1 system, stroller, baby carrier and car seat, baby bag, footmuff and baby carrier.
J.Crew x Liberty
We were thrilled when J.Crew opened its first UK store in London a few months ago and the news was even better when we discovered that the brand now stocks a collection for babies. As well as featuring comfy and durable items, the range features Liberty London print designs which we can’t get enough of.
Donna Wilson x Mamas & Papas
Designer Donna Wilson teamed up with Mamas & Papas to create a special edition baby buggy to add to the brand’s Urbo² collection. The buggy boasts Donna’s signature green and orange Foxleaf print and can also be purchased with a matching carrycot, footmuff, knitted fox blanket and a knitted little foxleaf toy.
Diesel x Bugaboo
New for next year is an unexpected collaboration between iconic lifestyle brand Diesel and mobility brand Bugaboo. The partnership is set to last three years and will involve a trio of collections. Watch this space for more info!
