Section: Toys & Education

Thomas & Friends takes to the skies in partnership with Virgin Atlantic, celebrating their 70 year anniversary.

The popular kids TV show character, Thomas the Tank Engine, is taking to the skies with Virgin Atlantic airlines to mark 70 years of Thomas & Friends, and to celebrate this new exciting global partnership.

If you and your family plan on going on holiday any time soon, booking with Virgin Atlantic will guarantee your little one a fun and exciting journey, making your travels just that little bit better. We know the struggles of travelling with tots, and how the hours can drag when sitting in a cramped seat with a sleeping toddler on your lap. But the fun in-flight kids' packs your tot will receive will keep them busy, including enjoyable colouring activities, challenging games and their own Thomas Minis collectible to keep them entertained while in the air.

Thomas & Friends was created by a father for his son, and has been popular and very loved all over the world for 70 years. Even if your child hasn’t watched this much-loved show, they’re almost guaranteed to enjoy this fun-themed and adventurous flight that Thomas & Friends has taken over. These flights will make travelling with your tot all the more special.

Passengers will also be given the exclusive opportunity to sit back, relax and enjoy the new Thomas & Friends movie, Sodor’s Legend of the Lost Treasure, which the little ones in particular will enjoy. The 60 minute spectacular adventure will make your journey all the more enjoyable, and you can spend some well-earned time bonding with your little one. Featuring new and interesting characters including Ryan, voiced by Academy Award winner Eddie Redmayne, Sailor John (John Hurt), and trusty sailor boat Skiff (Jamie Campbell Bower), your little one will be on the edge of their seat and won’t be able to look away (neither will you!) On these fun flights your own little engineer can celebrate and enjoy their favourite little blue engine.
