Sainsbury’s launches three flavours of Free From vegan ice cream!

Section: Toddler

Dairy free? Vegan? Gluten intolerant? Your little one can't even look at milk without projectile vomiting?

Worry not, as 'free from' ice cream treats are more accessible than ever before.

Sainsbury’s are the latest to remember people have varied dietary requirements and have launched a brand new dairy free ice cream. We can confirm that it's delicious. The new sweet treat is milk-free, egg-free, wheat-free, gluten-free and soya-free.

The pots of joy come in three glorious flavours - vanilla, chocolate and strawberry - and will set you back £3.50. Not the cheapest ice cream, but definitely not the most expensive either.

Well done Sainsburys for catering for all, meaning our little ones can still eat chocolate ice cream on a summer's afternoon.

Alexa Masterson, Product Developer at Sainsbury’s, commented: “We are excited to launch the latest additions to the Deliciously FreeFrom range – a lot of love and attention has gone into developing these products to ensure our customers with an allergy or intolerance to wheat, gluten, milk, egg or soya can enjoy.
