Ashton explained the inspiration behind their baby name choice in a recent interview with Conan O’Brien on his US talk show.
Claiming they already had another name picked out early in the pregnancy, the couple soon changed their minds and went back to the drawing board.

'I had to get the creative juices going, so we were going to a Lakers game, and I got name tourettes,' he said.
'I just started listing off anything and everything I saw: "sign, truck, wall, door..." She like, "Shut up!" I said, "if you don't accept my bad ideas, you'll never accept the good ones.
'Then I was like, "I've got a really dumb idea. What about Wyatt?" She goes, "That’s it”.’

Once they'd chosen the name, the digital-savvy couple were quick to register it on the Internet – including Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
'We've got the Twitter handle - the Instagram - everything you could possibly get - I don’t want a porn site with my daughter’s name!,’ he said.
The newborn even has her own email account, which the new parents email – so that one day Wyatt will be able to read all the kind things friends and family had to say.
Clearly loving their new roles as parents, the couple are taking some time off from work commitments – and Ashton has reportedly found a new talent, baby whispering!
