  • 1/3 small head cauliflower (about 140 g/5 oz), cut into small florets

This cauliflower puree recipe by Ella's Kitchen is packed with vitamin C and loaded with antioxidants to support your baby's organs and immune system. Why not try mixing in some cheese for an extra nutrient boost or a pinch of paprika or cumin for some extra flavour?

Method

1. Steam or boil the cauliflower in a saucepan over a medium heat for 8–10 minutes until very tender.
2. Adding 4–5 tablespoons of boiled water, purée the cauliflower in a food processor, or using a hand blender, until smooth.

Ella's top tip: You can thin all the purées using your baby’s usual milk if you prefer!
