Looking to introduce your baby to some new flavours? Then parsnips are a great choice! They’re packed full of iron and vitamins, making them a fantastic first weaning food for your baby, and they’re bound to enjoy this veg’s natural sweet taste.

Ingredients

  • 1 parsnip

  • 2 tbsp of water

Method

  1. Peel and dice the parsnip and place in a saucepan.

  2. Add the 2 tbsp of water and cover with a lid.

  3. Cook on the hob for 10-13 minutes.

  4. Blend for 2 minutes to make a smooth puree.
