It’s that time of year again! Sure, it’s only October, but the CBeebies Christmas panto is right around the corner and applications for tickets of the recording are about to open.
This years’ festive show will be a music adaptation of the ‘The Snow Queen’, and your tot’s favourite CBeebies stars will bring the well-known story to live. Let your little ones fall in love with the Christmas tale as Greda journeys to the North, to rescue her friend Kai from the evil Snow Queen.
How can I get into the audience?
This year’s show will be filmed at the Curve Theatre in Leicester. There will be a ticketed dress rehearsal at 5pm on Friday 3rd November and then two main performances at 1pm and 4.30pm on Saturday 4th November.
The ballot for the free tickets opens at 11am on 10th October and will close on 11am on 17th October, so you’ve got a week to try your luck at applying! There will be a random draw and the lucky winners will be emailed by CBeebies.

Like the real Lapland… but without the flight and freezing cold weather. This really is one of the best Christmas days out for children. It’s a Christmas festival, with elves introducing little ones to reindeer and weaving stories of their work in Santa’s grotto. And talking of which, kids can visit Santa and take home a signed photo of themselves with him, plus make gingerbread men, build toys together and receive a little gift. There’s also ice-skating and a log cabin restaurant. It’s pricey at from £65 per person but a truly magical experience.
