Chicken, Butternut Squash and Sage Purée Recipe by Annabel Karmel

Ingredients

  • 350g butternut squash, peeled and diced

  • 50g cooked chicken, diced

  • 50g Cheddar cheese, grated

  • ½ tsp fresh sage, chopped

  1. Steam the squash for about 10 minutes until tender. Drain and mash with a masher.

  2. Add the chicken, sage and cheese and mash together.

  3. For younger babies blend the cooked squash with the chicken and then stir in the grated Cheddar and sage until the cheese has melted.
