Cinnamon and Raisin Cookies Recipe

Chop the cookies into quarters so they're easy for your toddler to hold.


  • 75ml Flora Cuisine or 75g (3oz) Flora Buttery

  • 55g (2oz) caster sugar

  • 100g (3½oz) soft brown sugar

  • 1 medium egg

  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

  • 100g (3½oz) raisins , chopped

  • 175g (6oz) self-raising flour, sieved together with

  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon and

  • 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda

These cookies combine Flora Buttery with sweet raisins, brown sugar and a warm hint of cinnamon to make irresistible crunchy goodies.

It’s a quick and easy recipe that you can whip up from ingredients found in most family’s kitchen cupboards in no time. Whether for a teatime titbit or a tasty treat, these cinnamon and raisin cookies will go down a treat every time.

1. Place all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and beat together with a wooden spoon until well mixed.

2. Place teaspoons of the mixture on baking sheets, previously brushed with Flora.

3. Bake on the middle shelf of a preheated hot oven 190°C, 170°C fan, gas mark 5 for 8–10 minutes. Cool on a wire tray.
