Breakfast recipes

Mrs Hinch's Omelette

Waffle omelette recipe

Ingredients 

  • Handful of spinach (chopped) 
  • Handful of chopped ham 
  • 4 tomatoes (chopped) 
  • 3 eggs
  • Pinch of mixed Italian herbs 
  • Handful of grated cheese

Method

  1. Whisk up your eggs in a jug and add a pinch of mixed herbs
  2. Once whisked, add the ham, spinach, grated cheese and tomatoes into the eggs and whisk again
  3. Pour the mixture into the waffle maker evenly and close the lid and cook

Mrs Hinch's Potato waffles

Potato Waffle

Ingredients

  • 2 potatoes (grated) 
  • Handful of grated cheese
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • 2 eggs 

Method

  1. Add the grated cheese to the grated potato in a large bowl and mix
  2. Whisk your eggs and add in the pepper before adding them to the bowl with the potato and cheese
  3. Mix together and pop it into the waffle maker, spreading the mixture around evenly and close the lid to cook
  4. Once it's ready, you can serve with ketchup or a dippy egg

Lunch recipes

Mrs Hinch's Spinach and cheese Quesadilla

Quesadilla

Ingredients 

  • Handful of spinach 
  • 1tbs Philadelphia cream cheese
  • 2 tortillas 
  • Pinch of mixed italian herbs 
  • Handful of grated cheese 

Method

  1. Microwave the spinach leaves until wilted
  2. Blend the spinach, Philadelphia, grated cheese and mixed herbs in the blender
  3. Spread onto one tortilla and sandwich the other on top 
  4. Pop into the waffle maker until it's cooked to how you like it

Dinner recipes 

Mrs Hinch's Pizza 

Pizza waffle

Ingredients

  • Jus Rol pizza base 
  • Tomato pizza topping sauce 
  • 1-2 mushrooms sliced 
  • A few spinach leaves
  • Handful of grated cheese

Method

  1. Cut or mould your Jus Rol pizza base to the perfect size for your waffle maker and close the lid to cook until golden brown
  2. Once cooked, spread on the tomato pizza sauce along with your sliced mushroom and spinach leaves and close the lid to cook again
  3. When your mushrooms and spinach has cooked, sprinkle your grated cheese on top 
  4. Hold the lid of the waffle maker down (without touching the cheese) to melt the cheese for a few minutes until it's melted

Chicken, broccoli and cheddar potato waffles

Ingredients 

  • 5 potatoes
  • Milk 
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Portion of chopped cooked chicken
  • Handful of grated cheese
  • 2 florets of chopped boiled broccoli
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 120g plain flour
  • 1 large egg

Method

  1. Boil the potatoes until tender for about 30 minutes. Drain and place them in a large bowl 
  2. Mash them and then add milk and butter.  Mix until well incorporated
  3. Stir in the chicken, cheese, broccoli, pepper, flour and egg
  4. Spray with oil or butter spray and spread batter about evenly and cook until slightly brown
