If trick or treating isn’t really your thing or your little monster is still a little young, why not spend Halloween curled up on the couch instead watching a Halloween film together?

We round up the best family friendly Halloween movies for kids, from classics such as Casper to animated favourites such as Coco, that will help your child get into the spooky spirit, without getting too scared.

Super Monsters Save Halloween 

Plot: The very cute Super Monsters use their powers to get their neighbors in the Halloween spirit and comfort a nervous friend.

Plot: Mary-Kate and Ashley star in this adorable film where they try to trick their evil aunt out of a magic moonstone and save their family home.

Plot: If you’re looking for a funny Halloween movie that all the family can enjoy, then look no further. Count Dracula runs a hotel for monsters, where he lives with his daughter, Mavis, who he is extremely protective over. But when a human stumbles across Hotel Transylvania Mavis falls in love and Dracula tries everything in his power to keep the two apart.

Curious George: A Halloween Boo Fest
