1) Hotel Cordial Mogán Playa

Overview: The hotel complex is intriguingly fabulous, with its authentic Spanish decor, botanical gardens and serene atmosphere. The hotel is like a small village and has all the usuals including luxurious swimming pools, restaurants, games rooms and even has it’s own chapel. The wonderful subtropical climate means you can fully enjoy the facilities at any time of the year. 

Location: The hotel is located in Puerto de Mogan and is known as the Little Venice for its bridges and canals. The picturesque fishing village has a golden beach, colourful house and cosy restaurants.

2) Salobre Hotel Resort & Serenity 

Overview:  Salobre Hotel is a stunning wellness retreat, tucked away in Gran Canaria’s mountainous terrain. The resort boasts six restaurants, seven swimming pools and two impressive, 19-hole golf course, meaning there are lots to do, despite the somewhat isolated location. The hotel is fancy. Impressive features include four-poster beds for sun loungers, a pink river and a secret swimming pool upon a mountain top. Your holiday pics will be out of this world! 

Location: The 40,000 square-metre resort is in the middle of nowhere, which is great for couples hankering for some peace and quiet. There is a free shuttle bus throughout the day, so you can visit the local beach. The hotel is a 30-minute drive from the airport. 

Spa: The Aloe Spa specialises in relaxing facial and body treatments, sensation showers, a private pool and a wellness circuit. The views from the outdoor hydrotherapy pools are out of this world and you could easily spend your entire babymoon feeling pampered.

3) Gloria Palace Amadores Thalasso & Hotel

Overview:  A hotel upon a cliff face, this ultra-modern resort blends in with the rock edge it occupies. Gloria Palace Amadores is sleek, vast (12 open floors!) and very accommodating for families. There are lavish pools and it’s famous for its state of the art thalassotherapy centre.    

Location: Like ts namesake, the resort is a five- minutes walk to Amadores beach and 10 minutes to Puerto Rico. The hotel is a few hundred yards from both a quiet beach and lively beach, full of opportunities to play water sports. There are golf courses, shops and restaurants close by. 

Spa: The spa and wellness facilities are like no other. There is a huge thalassotherapy centre, which has different massage stations, including; swan necks, water jets, bubble hydromassage, microbubble beds (check with your GP before using thalassotherapy when pregnant).  There are plenty of places to lounge with a mocktail and take in the views of the glorious ocean. Treatments include crystal body exfoliation, Reiki and raindrop therapy.
