Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have finally welcomed their little one into the world after a much anticipated wait. The pair posed for photographers with their newborn son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor on Wednesday lunchtime.
Unlike many royal women before her, Meghan didn't opt for a photoshoot straight after the birth - instead waiting two days to be photo ready, looking radiant in her flattering outfit.
In mid-April, Kensington Palace announced that Meghan and Harry had taken the personal decision of keeping the details surrounding the birth under wraps. And unlike Kate Middleton, the couple officially decided not to have their baby at the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington. The Lindo Wing had been the swanky choice of Kate and Wills for the births of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, in a tradition that was started by Princess Diana.
