Binky Felstead reveals baby India’s nursery has been “destroyed” in storm

The Made in Chelsea star had a less than pleasant bank holiday weekend after her home was affected by flash floods

Binky Felstead has revealed that her house has been hit with flood damage after a weekend of severe storms and worst of all, the most affected room is her daughter India’s nursery.

She shared the damage with fans on her Instagram account, posting pictures of water and dirt covering the floor in her hallway.

She wrote: “Cheers to last night’s storm,” on one photo, and captioned another: “Happy bank holiday to me…”

Binky’s boyfriend and India’s dad JP also documented the incident on his Instagram, showing that he’d spent most of the day itemising their damaged belongings for insurance purposes.

He later showed off brand new flooring that had been laid in India’s nursery and thanked the workmen who helped with “the long journey of getting [their] home back again.”

At least baby India wasn’t home when the damage occurred, as Binky posted a photo of the 11-month-old looking happy in the sun.

"At least someone has no idea of the nightmare that's going on back at ours… Her nursery is ruined as is all of the bottom floor of our place. Thank you for that last nights storm,” she wrote in the caption.

Binky gave birth to India, her first child with JP, last June. At the time she described the birth as a “dream labour.”

“There was no screaming or crying and it wasn’t like in a movie. It was all over very quickly. “We’re a family now. She just loves cuddles and everyone’s saying she looks like Josh, but she has both our dark hair,” she told Hello magazine.

One of the nations favourite television presenters, Holly Willoughby has spoken openly about her pregnancies several times but when speaking about her pregnancy cravings one thing is always clear, she loves a sweet treat. Speaking to Asda’s Good Living magazine she said:
“My sweet tooth was out of control. Harry was made of cupcakes and with Belle, it was worse. I’d just eat the buttercream, chuck the sponge and get another one!”
