Congratulations to Kerry Katona and her fiancé George Kay, who on Friday night welcomed their baby daughter into the world.
The former Atomic Kitten gave birth to her fifth child on Friday night, having been waiting since around March 31st to go into labour.
Partner George took to Twitter after spending some time with their newborn to let their followers know the outcome.
It sounds like the couple may have had a false alarm in the days before Kerry gave birth, as George tweeted on April 2nd, ‘Let's hope we get some sleep tonight baby xxxx’.
He followed that up with, ‘Love you baby.. Too excited the waiting is killing me :-) xxxxx.’
The new parents haven’t yet announced the name of their three-day-old daughter, but Kerry’s Atomic Kitten bandmate Liz McClarnon has already met her.
Third Kitten Natasha Hamilton – who last week announced that she and Big Reunion co-star Ritchie Neville from 5ive are expecting their own bundle of joy – also tweeted her congratulations, saying, ‘A huge congrats to @KerryKatona7 & @mrgsjkay on the arrival of their baby girl. Can't wait to get back to uk and get some cuddles xxx.’
The little girl is Kerry and George’s first child together, although George is stepdad to Kerry’s other children – Mollie and Lilly-Sue, by ex-husband Brian McFadden, and Heidi and Maxwell by second husband Mark Croft.
