The businesswoman, 26, who came second on The Apprentice, reveals she struggled with the condition when her daughter Dixie, now four, was born, and it’s made her uncertain about having another baby in the future.
‘It was awful. You feel so lost, helpless and lonely. Being stuck at home with a screaming baby is very scary,’ she tells OK! magazine.
‘I didn’t really like Dixie – and that made me feel so guilty. I didn’t understand why I wasn’t like all the other mums, in love with my new baby.

While everyone else was bonding with their child, I wanted to walk out the door and never come back. I felt so ashamed.’
‘I felt so bad that I didn’t want to wake up in the mornings. I wanted to roll over and die. It’s such a deep low.’
Fortunately, Luisa was given a mental health test by her health visitor when Dixie was three months old and the depression was diagnosed by her doctor. She worked through it and is now enjoying life with her little girl.
But she’s unsure whether she’ll have another child because of her experience.
‘After that, I swore I’d never have another child. But I suppose if the right person came along, I’d consider it,’ she says.
