Joe Wicks books

Joe Wicks is well known for his fun recipe videos and his morning 'Wake Up With Joe' PE lessons during the coronavirus lockdowns but he actually gained popularity in 2015 with his first book, Lean in 15 – The Shift Plan which went on to become one of the bestselling diet books of all time.

If you're a fan of Joe and want to find out more about his books, we've rounded up the ones worth buying.

Lean in 15

£7.00 - RRP: £18.99

In Joe's very first book, he reveals how to shift your body fat by eating more and exercising less. Lean in 15 – The Shift Plan includes a hundred recipes for nutritious, quick-to-prepare meals – including his bad-boy burrito and oaty chicken – and guides you through Joe's signature HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) home workouts – revealing how to combine food and exercise to ignite intense fat-burning.

Review: "Made 3 meals in one go to set me up for the week and so far they have been out of this world! I purchased mainly for the low carb high protein recipes and am not dissapointed!"

Organised by main ingredient, making it easy to find a recipe for every occasion, Joe's 30 Minute Meals features more than a hundred nutritious recipes that are perfect for sharing including dishes such as Bang Bang Chicken Stir-Fry and Joe’s Sausage and Mushroom Pie.

Review: "Ordered this book as I want to get back in to shape and it would seem no fitness instructor wants to help with a meal plan unless they train you, I have to say I am really impressed with the book the information it gives and the simple recipes are fun to make but really tasty, I highly recommend it their are some elements of the recipes I don’t like like tomato but once it’s cooked you hardly know they are their, a big thanks to the author."

Wean in 15

£8.49 - RRP: £16.99

Joe's first dedicated weaning book, Wean in 15 features one hundred delicious, healthy and balanced recipes, from finger foods and purées to adapting your own favourite meals for your baby. It also provides expert help with nutrients, allergies, supplements and fussy eaters, as well as knowing how to understand your child’s signals.

Review: "I am so pleased with this book; I have quite a few weaning books (AK, Young Gums etc) and wasn't entirely sure this would add much - but it really does. I have followed Joe's Instagram accounts for a while and was a fan of his style of cooking for his little ones - this book is full of genuinely interesting recipes, new flavour combos and methods that I would not have thought of. I was half-expecting it to be a re-hash of his Insta recipes, and there are a few in there, but there is plenty of new stuff to make it worth a buy."

One for the vegetarians out there, Veggie Lean in 15 is stuffed full of flavour-packed vegetarian recipes, many of which are also vegan, plus three exclusive Body Coach HIIT workouts and a bonus abs workout. From Smoky Sweet Potato Chilli to 'Creamy' Butternut Pasta, Veggie Lean in 15 features dishes that can be prepared in fifteen minutes flat.

Review: "The veggie lean in 15 book arrived this evening and I've not put it down! I've been veggie all my life and was yet to find a recipe book that inspired me. Usually the same old boring stuff. I have never wanted to try everything at once! Recently me and my husband (who is a meat eater) have struggled to find the motivation to cook as we have the same meals over again."

Easy to personalise according to your own day-to-day habits and aiming to help everyone kick start a healthier lifestyle, these delicious, sustaining recipes are combined with six HIIT workouts to help you get in shape.

Review: "Am currently doing Joe Wicks’s 90 Day Plan, and bought this as I wanted to have new recipes. So glad I did! It arrived yesterday and last night made the Almond Butter Satay Chicken with Asian Slaw for the family. Total winner!"

Joe's most recent release celebrates the joy of sharing a home-cooked meal with loved ones and is packed full of dishes that are guaranteed to please adults and children alike. There are 100 simple, healthy and delicious recipes your whole family will love including meals for speedy suppers, fun celebrations and everything in between.

Review: "Love this cookbook so much. I can see it is going to a firm family favourite. It has 100 recipes broken down into sections for speedy suppers, oven cooking, hob, big batch, meat free, cooking with kids and celebrations. It is filled with delicious yet healthy meals that I’m sure my family will love. Really happy with this purchase and looking forward to trying lots and lots of these recipes."
