How to keep flowers fresh for longer

There's nothing worse than buying a brand new set of flowers, only for them to wilt away after a few days. Unfortunately, this happens all too often, so here are a few things you can do to keep your blooms fresh for up to a week.

First things first, always make sure to give the stems a snip before placing them in the water and do so again after a few more days. It's also important to clean your vase to prevent germs that are harmful to your flowers; you can do so by mixing hot water with a tablespoon of baking soda and white vinegar and cleaning the inside of the vase.

Changing the water every two days to keep things fresh is another great idea, and we also suggest removing any wilting or dying flowers away, to prevent the contamination of the rest of the bouquet.
