A thoughtful gesture by a couple taking their baby on their first flight has gained praise online
Sitting in close proximity to a screaming baby on a flight is most passengers’ worst nightmare, but one thoughtful couple decided to appease their fellow flyers with a considerate care package.
When boarding the flight with their (nearly) one-year-old daughter Madeline, they handed out goody bags with earplugs and sweets – and a note.
It read: ‘Hi Stranger! ‘My name is Madeline. I will be 1 on December 17th and this is my first flight. I'll try to be on my best behaviour, but I'd like to apologise in advance if I lose my cool, get scared or my ears hurt. ‘My mom and dad packed you this goodies bag with a few treats. There are also earplugs in case my first public serenade isn't as enjoyable to you as it is my mom and dad. Have a great flight!’
Great move parents!
