The reality star has said that she’s finding it tough to shift the weight and can’t use having a baby as an excuse anymore
Once you’ve settled into motherhood and more or less got the hang of your baby’s routine, losing your baby weight could be next on your agenda.
But for reality star, Kim Kardashian, it’s been a long battle. Despite losing a substantial amount of weight after having baby North, 14 months, she’s still trying to lose the last 15-20lb of weight.
Kim shared her frustration on her Twitter account, tweeting to her many followers that she couldn’t use having just had a baby as an excuse for it anymore.
‘Off to an intense workout. Can't seem to shake this last 15-20 lbs of baby weight. No more excuses. My baby is 1 years old! UGH
‘I'm not gonna call it baby weight because that’s an excuse. I just gained weight & that's it. Why is it so much harder to lose after baby though!!
She then went on to say that her body just wasn’t the same since having a baby, but that she was determined to get down to the weight she was a few years ago.
‘Do any of u moms see their bodies just not the same? A different shape? Ughhhh my hips & butt are huge now! They were big to begin with!
‘Just need to get down to my weight a few years ago. Not gonna complain anymore. Starting diet TODAY! No carbs. Crazy workouts. Who’s with me?
‘I think after having a baby u get so excited u lost a lot of weight then u get comfortable & eat how you used & it creeps back up.

She’s not the first celebrity mum to talk about the pressure to lose weight after having a baby. And we’ll admit, we do understand how she’s feeling, but even if you can’t completely reach your pre-pregnancy goal weight, you do have one very obvious benefit – meeting your baby!
