Burlesque star and lingerie entrepreneur Dita von Teese is about to make maternity underwear a whole lot sexier.

The glamorous star, 41, has joined forces with Destination Maternity to offer mums a range of stylish, yet practical, undergarments – part of her Von Follies lingerie collaboration.

The idea behind the range is to restore new mums’ style and confidence, which often goes out the window when a baby arrives.

Everything has been designed with new mums in mind, from wireless bras with clip-down tabs (handy for breastfeeding) and detachable cups for added comfort to knickers with a control panel for extra support.

‘Elegant underpinnings are a simple way to create everyday moments of luxury and beauty, and why wouldn’t a new mother enjoy beautiful lingerie, too?’ Dita told People Magazine.

‘The collection I created with Destination Maternity is designed to capture the spirit of retro glamour, while inspiring confidence and meeting the practical requirements and everyday needs of a new mother.’

Time to throw out your over-used and stain-filled undies? We thank you Dita.
