Eve topper bundle

There’s nothing like a good night’s sleep and these can feel few and far between with a baby in the house. To help you get the perfect night’s sleep, we tried out the eve topper bundle, containing everything you need to transform your bedroom into a hotel-worthy place of slumber.

The perfect option for those looking to upgrade their bed without buying a complete new mattress, the memory foam topper from eve is all the technology of the award-winning mattress, in 5cm! The breathable foam offers extra comfort and support when placed on top of your existing mattress, plus also included in the bundle are two premium memory foam pillows, with circulation and muscle alignment benefits. Here’s what our tester thought of the bundle:

What’s in the box?

The bundle includes the memory foam topper, two memory foam pillows (if you’ve ordered a double or king, or super king, one if you’ve ordered a single bundle), an autumn/winter nine tog duvet, made of 90% duck down and 10% duck feather and 100% cotton sheets.

How easy was the bundle to assemble?

The bundle will arrive in two separate parts – the topper in a box of its own and the pillows, duvet and sheets in another. Simply unroll the topper onto your current mattress, give it an hour or so to expand, and you’re good to go.

What was it like to sleep on?

According to their website, eve ‘know [their] stuff when it comes to sleep’ and it shows. When testing the bundle, our two different sleepers (one of us a front sleeper, the other a side sleeper), tried the topper on two different mattresses and on both it dramatically improved sleep quality. On the older of the two mattresses, the uncomfortable springs could no longer be felt, and our testers said it was amazing how much of a difference 5cm made. On the newer, harder, memory foam mattress, the topper added comfortable cushioning to make the bed cosier.

Whilst the topper makes a difference from day one, if you’re used to soft feather pillows that have seen better days, it might take a few nights to get used to the memory foam pillows. A lot harder than feather of fibre pillows, if you’re used to sleeping with two pillows normally, you’ll almost definitely only need one eve pillow.

The cotton sheets are soft and breathable, giving you that hotel-luxury from the comfort of your own home. The best part? Every parent knows white bedding doesn’t stay white for long with little one’s in the house, but the long staple length keeps the bedding soft and durable, no matter how many times it goes through the washing machine.

What if the bundle doesn’t suit me?

Made in the UK, the lovely customer service team are on hand 24/7 to help you with your order. You’ve got 100 days to try the topper in your own home, and if it doesn’t live up to your expectations, they’ll come and pick it up for free. It’s worth noting, if you’re in two minds hold off opening the rest of the bundle, as the duvet and sheets will need to be in their original packaging. The pillows can be returned within 30 days without the original packaging.

Do eve make mattresses for my little one?

Yes! The eve baby mattress is handcrafted in the UK, available in two sizes and suitable from birth to six years. The cot mattress is 60cm x 120cm and the cot bed mattress is 70cm x 140cm. The mattress has pocket springs to support your growing tot, with an added layer of nursery grade foam. The baby mattress also has a waterproof, protective panel between the cover and foam layer, to protect the mattress from leaks and spills, and the mattress cover itself is machine washable.

The home trial gives you 30 days to let your little one test it themselves, and if you’re not happy, eve will come and pick it up for you. Eve have also pledged to donate 15% of profits from the eve baby mattress to The Lullaby Trust, who provide expert advice on safe sleeping for babies.
