This isn’t great news if you and your family have been doing veganuary, but for the steak fans amongst us, you’ll be thrilled to hear Aldi’s 16oz ‘Big Daddy’ steak is back in store on Thursday 18th January, and will only cost you £4.99!
The monster slab of meat will only be available for one day, and judging from last year’s success, you’ll need to be quick if you want to grab the deal. Steak enthusiasts will need to get themselves down to their local branch of Aldi on Thursday 18th January to be in with a chance of getting the 21-day matured rump steak for under a five.
Aldi’s Tony Baines said: ‘This premium British rump steak is an example of Aldi’s commitment to offering quality, locally-sourced products at amazing low prices, once again allowing customers to make substantial savings on luxury products without compromise.’
Aldi’s Big Daddy steak is 100g heavier than its closest rival – Tesco’s 350g Finest rump, and is 42% cheaper per kilogram. Steak fans – set your alarms now!
