You heard right, gin and tonic TEA now exists, and it is SAFE for pregnant women to drink!
We all know it’s perfectly natural to miss having a tipple from time to time during pregnancy, and now it seems our prayers have been answered as luxury retailer Fortnum & Mason have just launched some game-changing gin and tonic teabags.
Each silky bag is filled with a combination of green tea mixed with all the aromatic ingredients that go into the production of gin, including juniper berries and handpicked botanicals such as coriander, fennel and lemon balm, all topped off with some dried cucumber and lime. The result is the delicious taste of G&T without the alcohol (or hangover!) or, as Fortnum & Mason put it: ‘G&T without the consequences.’
As you might have guessed, Fortnum & Mason’s gin & tonic teabags cost a bit more than your average box of Tetley - a box of 15 will set you back £6.95 to be precise - but we think it’s a small price to pay to be able to enjoy gin o’clock at any hour of the day.
