Who said romance was dead? With Valentine’s Day around the corner, finding a table at your favourite restaurant can be tricky. Yet hope is not lost, as highstreet sausage-roll shop Greggs have revealed their Valentine’s Day menu!
For those who want more of a low-key affair, you can treat your other half to a candlelit dinner for two at your local Greggs for just £15 for the both of you.
Before you turn your nose up, Greggs are pulling out all the stops for February 14th, and are even throwing in a complimentary bottle of Prosecco for loved up couples.
Greggs revealed the news on OpenTable, saying: ‘We’re transforming selected shops into restaurants designed for romance, complete with mood lighting and music, roses, candles and linen tablecloths.’
The four-course set menu will include a bottle of bubbly and will cost £15 for two people. The starter is a composition of canapes, including a seasoned pork and puff pastry slider. The main course is your choice of signature Greggs puff pastry parcel and dessert is a brochette of miniature doughnuts! There’s also a final course of petits fours and coffee – fancy!
