Are you a pro at making the kids’ birthday cakes? Are you a Bake-Off fanatic? If the answer to these questions is yes, dig out the oven gloves, because we’ve got the news you’ve been waiting for.
The Great British Bake Off will be back on Channel 4 for it’s 10th series, and they are looking for amateur bakers to take Sophie’s crown. If you’ve watched for years, and believe you, or someone you know, has what it takes to enter the tent, here’s how you apply.
You have to be aged 16 or over on 1st January 2018, be a resident of the UK, and not hold any qualification in catering, baking, cooking, food production or food preparation (unless it was acquired over 10 years ago). You must also never have worked as a full-time baker, cook or chef, and your main source of income must not come from commercial baking or cooking in a professional environment.
Of course, you also need to commit to filming between April and July next year! Find full terms and conditions here.
Ready to fill out your application form? You can do so here and can thank us (in the form of cake) later!
