Holly Willoughby’s baby gender predictor theory

Holly Willoughby - This Morning

There’s a number of different ways to predict whether you’re having a baby boy, or a girl. From our Chinese Gender Predictor Tool, to a number of old wives’ tales, they’ve all got a 50/50 chance of being right, and are a great way to keep everyone guessing during your pregnancy

That said, according to This Morning star Holly Willoughby, she’s unlocked a secret to being right every time. No, it’s not asking your sonographer at your 20-week-scan, it’s the way your hands look on your bump.

After Serena Williams’ tweeted a photo of her beautiful pregnancy photo shoot for Vanity Fair, Holly quickly guessed the tennis superstar was expecting a girl.

Holding her hands either side of her stomach, Willoughby demonstrated her ‘theory’, saying if your hands go in at the bump, it’s a boy:

Holly Willoughby - it's a boy!

If your hands go out like Holly is demonstratign below, it’s a girl.

Holly Willoughby - it's a girl

Urging viewers to 'try it - it's always right', we'll have to wait and see whether this is true when Serena's baby is born later this year.

What do you think of the theory? Did you try any gender predictors when pregnant? Let us know in the comments below!
