This stay-at-home mum made a time-lapse of her day, and it is SO relatable

Gemma video

Fed up mum Gemma Chalmers decided to prove to her ‘moaning’ partner that being a stay-at-home mum was anything but relaxing, with this amazing time-lapse. Cramming her 12-hour day into eight minutes, Gemma’s video has proved a hit with parents on Facebook, who have agreed it is a true representation of life at home with a little one.

Gemma’s Facebook post read; ‘All weekend my lovely partner has been moaning that I do nothing all day, so I thought I’d show him a full day. I actually find having a day of work more like a day off. been a mummy all day…also a cleaner, a driver, a cook, a storyteller, a nurse, a playmate, a toddler wrestling coach, a teacher, an art director, a potty trainer, a champion tickler, a wardrobe stylist, a personal dresser, a laundry operator, a personal shopper, and many more.’

Gemma went on to tell the Mirror, ‘my partner has started his own business and works a lot and doesn’t really think I do much. I just thought, I’m going to prove him wrong.’

The video starts at 9am and follows her day until her son falls asleep at 9pm. Mums: what do you think? Does Gemma’s video look familiar?
