The TV presenter has had her first child – a baby boy whose name is yet to be revealed
Congratulations to Claire Sweeney, who’s given birth to her first baby, a son, with former fiancé Daniel Riley.
The couple’s son was born via a scheduled C-section earlier this week in Liverpool and while the 42-year-old TV star hasn’t yet confirmed her son’s name, she has tweeted saying what his name isn’t.
‘Our little boy is not called Walton, his name is to be decided,’ Claire tweeted this morning.
Claire also tweeted on Sunday about the impending arrival of her baby, writing, ‘Less than 24 hrs till I meet my little man!’
Claire recently told Mother&Baby how excited she was at becoming a mum and admitted although she’s no longer with Daniel, ‘he’s going to be very hands on’ with the baby.

But while being a single mum may pose some problems, she admitted that she’s lucky to have the career she does. ‘I will be free all day and I will literally be on stage for a few hours in the evening and for that time I just need someone to hold my baby – a nanny,’ Claire told Mother&Baby.
