The Britain’s Got Talent judge gives her vote of confidence to the dad-to-be music mogul
His impending fatherhood has been one of the biggest news shockers this year, but Simon Cowell, 54, has openly expressed his excitement at becoming a parent saying ‘I think I will be a good dad’ – and Amanda Holden knows he’s up to the challenge.
The 42-year-old mum of two and Britain’s Got Talent judge took to the red carpet for the Pride of Britain Awards 2013 on Monday.
When asked about filming the new series of the show, Amanda confessed the panel dynamic would be different with the judges all being parents now – Alesha Dixon gave birth to her daughter last week, while David Walliams became a dad to a baby boy in May – but that she was really excited to be having her eighth year on the programme.
And how will Simon cope with parenting? ‘I honestly think he’s going to be amazing,’ she said. ‘He’s brilliant with children.’
