The new mum has admitted that she expected breastfeeding her newborn would be easier than it is

Since giving birth to her first baby, Bobby, last month, Kimberley Walsh has admitted that she initially struggled to breastfeed.

‘I always thought breastfeeding would be the easiest thing in the world,’ the Girls Aloud singer told OK! magazine. ‘It's only when you speak to other people who tell you they found it painful and hard that you realise it's not just you.

‘More often than not it doesn't come naturally to either you or your baby. It can be quite distressing when it's not working, but we've definitely cracked it now and it continually gets easier and easier.’

Kimberley, 32, added that Bobby’s growing as she should be, saying, ‘Bobby’s putting on a good amount of weight each week now so we're on the right track which is a real relief.’

It seems like baby Bobby is being spoilt rotten by his Girls Aloud honorary aunties, with Kimberley posting a Twit pic of his new shoe socks from Nicola Roberts on Twitter yesterday.

Cheryl’s also treated Kimberley’s son to a Fendi bomber jacket, which will keep him snug this winter.

And Bobby’s mum is every bit as stylish. Despite giving birth just last month, Kimberley looked more than happy with her healthy post-baby figure at the Specsavers’ Spectacle Wearer of the Year awards last night. The new mum wore a flattering V-neck floor-length black dress, featuring an empire waistline that skimmed over her stomach.

Pregnant Pussycat Doll singer Kimberley Wyatt was also at the star-studded event, and looked incredible in a black bandeau dress with gold detailing.
