Actress and presenter Claire Sweeney, 43, has announced that she’s pregnant with a baby boy and she plans to call him Gabriel, ‘because he’s my little angel.’

Opening up about the happy news in OK Magazine, Claire revealed that she found out she was pregnant a month after her split with fiancé Daniel Riley.

Thrilled to be pregnant after two tragic miscarriages, the five months' pregnant star told the magazine, ‘I love being pregnant – it just feels exactly the right time in my life.

‘I’ll probably have this little boy and I’ll think, I want some more, why didn’t I do this years ago? Or I might think, one’s enough, the little bugger!’

The former Brookside actress admitted that her former fiancé restored her hope of having children and despite their split earlier in the year, Daniel will be involved in their child’s life.

‘Mine and Daniel’s split was all very amicable, we’re still friends and it’s great that he wants to be involved with the baby,’ she said.
