Clarence House released a statement, stating that The Duchess is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum - like she did when she was pregnant with George.
'As with her first pregnancy, The Duchess is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum,' the statement reads. 'Her Royal Highness will no longer accompany The Duke of Cambridge on their planned engagement in Oxford today. The Duchess of Cambridge is being treated by doctors at Kensington Palace.'
The royal couple welcomed their first child, Prince George, in July last year and it’s not yet known when the family’s new baby is due. Stay tuned to keep up to date with the latest royal baby #2 news!

Kate and Wills’ son was the picture of royal ease as at a polo match in June as he showed the world that he’d mastered the art of walking. And for a mum who’s getting used to her fast-moving baby, Kate looked incredibly un-frazzled. [REX]

Many new mums despair about the state of their wardrobe once their baby comes along, either because they don’t feel their pre-motherhood style suits them any more, or because there is literally nothing in the closet that doesn’t have sick/smushed banana/other nasties all over it.
But Kate Middleton has shown that post-maternity wear doesn’t have to be frumpy. Whether she’s dressing down for a day in the countryside, or dolling herself up for a ball, the Duchess of Cambridge proves that baby or no, you can still look fabulous after you’ve given birth.
See the gallery below for all the outfits she has worn since Prince George arrived last summer. Now where can we get a tiara like that?
There’s nothing quite as satisfying as a happily sleeping baby. After hours (or what feels like it) trying to soothe them, when they finally drift off and silence reigns once again there’s something rewarding in peeking through the door, or checking your baby monitor and seeing your baby sound asleep.
