At just six weeks old the new prince and princess of Monaco are calling the shots at the palace, but their parents couldn’t be happier
When tiny Princess Gabriella Thérèse Marie and Prince Jacques Honoré Rainier were born in December, two weeks early and by Caesarian section, the whole principality of Monaco celebrated.
Their mother Princess Charlene – who turned 37 on January 25 – told Paris Match that the tots were ‘beautiful, adorable, I'm crazy in love with them.’
‘They are the boss now!’ she confessed, as mums everywhere nodded in agreement…
This week proud dad Prince Albert II of Monaco also opened up about the newborn twins, telling CNN’s Nina Dos Santos: ‘It has modified my schedule quite a bit, and it changes your focus, but it’s wonderful and I’m enjoying every bit of it.
‘They’re doing great, and we’re trying to care for them as much as possible. It’s going to be interesting and fascinating to watch them grow up.’
There’s nothing quite as satisfying as a happily sleeping baby. After hours (or what feels like it) trying to soothe them, when they finally drift off and silence reigns once again there’s something rewarding in peeking through the door, or checking your baby monitor and seeing your baby sound asleep.
The latest model to join the Out ‘n’ About range is the new GT pushchair. A good one for cruising around town or casually strolling down those country park roads, the GT has been designed with both the parent and child in mind.
