The singer and his wife Ayda chose to share their son’s birth with fans through a series of video blogs and tweets
Robbie Williams is now a proud dad of two. The singer, 40, and his wife Ayda Field, 35, welcomed a son yesterday afternoon weighing a healthy eight pounds two ounces.
But rather than just sharing the odd snapshot from their US delivery room experience, Robbie and Ayda went the extra mile and posted numerous videos and photos throughout the labour.

Robbie’s first tweet was a pic of Ayda’s footwear, which happened to be a jewel-encrusted pair of Louboutins. Obvs. ‘When Ayda goes into labour she comes correct,’ the Take That star captioned the snapshot.
The singer then started posting video after video of his and Ayda’s wait for their son’s arrival. One video showed Robbie grooving along to one of his own hits while Ayda rested in bed and another showcased the star’s vocal talents as he crooned along to Frozen hit Let It Go while Ayda was having a contraction.
The final video Robbie posted shows the exhausted but elated pair after their son’s arrival, thanking fans for taking part in their ‘journey.’
