Royal baby update! Plans Are Revealed For Prince George’s First Christmas

Section: Celebrity Mums

Christmas is pretty special, but we hazard a guess that for the Windsor clan it’s even more fabulous (forget the cracker crowns, it’s the real deal for the royal family). So, we reckon the Middleton family are thrilled to be invited this year…

That’s right – the Queen is reportedly breaking with tradition and has invited the Middletons for Prince George’s first Christmas. Kate’s parents are said to be spending the festive season in the luxury of her Maj’s Sandringham estate. And we thought our Christmas gift shopping would be tough!

While an unusual move for the royal family, the suggestion that both sets of grandparents spend the holiday with George makes sense – especially as Wills spent last Christmas with his in-laws and pregnant wife in Berkshire.

And rumour has it that Kate’s little sis Pippa may nab herself an invite, too. We’re not envious at all…

‘This year's celebrations are set to be extra special after Prince George's arrival,’ a royal source told The Sun newspaper. ‘What better way to mark such a magical year than by having the whole family present? Kate is very close to her family. Any child's first Christmas is one no grandparent would want to miss.’

But before Christmas arrives, the Windsors and Middletons have another big get-together coming up – baby George’s christening.

How did you make your baby’s first Christmas special? Let us know below.
