The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who is five months pregnant, landed in New York last night for a whirlwind visit of the Big Apple.
The pair were greeted at the luxury Carlyle Hotel, where Princess Diana once stayed, by hordes of screaming fans.
Kate, 32 wore a purple coat by British maternity label Seraphine, showing a hint of her baby bump beneath.
A spokeswoman for Seraphine said: 'We're delighted to see the Duchess of Cambridge wearing our bespoke Marina coat and wish her an enjoyable stay in New York City.'

Their programme over the next few days includes a number of events and charitable visits, including the Creativity is GREAT Reception, hosted by NeueHouse, celebrating the wealth of British Talent in the Creative Industries based in New York, and the St. Andrews 600th Anniversary Dinner at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York – the university where the royal couple first met.

The couple will also will also take in an NBA basketball game to support the on-going collaboration between the Royal Foundation, United for Wildlife and the NBA.
