It’s Kate and Wills’ first year as parents, so they’ve got together with the Queen, Camilla and Carole Middleton to celebrate Mother’s Day…
Ok, we’ll ‘fess up. It’s actually the work of spoof photographer Alison Jackson.
If you look a little closer, you’ll realise that the pictures feature lookalikes and it’s what Alison imagines the Royals will be getting up to this weekend for Mother’s Day.
Not only does it show the Queen getting in on the selfie trend (she even has a corgi phone cover), but also Prince William cooking a Mother’s Day breakfast while Kate opens cards, and the family sat down for pre-lunch nibbles while the Queen cuddle Prince George and Camilla knocks back a glass of champers.
The pictures were commissioned by online lifestyle retailer notonthehighstreet.com to celebrate Mother’s Day this weekend and the pictures feature many products available on the site.
This isn’t the first time that Alison has released spoof pictures of the Royal Family, and she’s known for creating seemingly intimate images of the rich and famous using uncannily accurate lookalikes. Other targets have included The Beckhams, Simon Cowell and Justin Bieber.
If you’re still looking for ideas for a present for your mum this weekend, there’s still time to pick up a lovely gift.
There’s nothing quite as satisfying as a happily sleeping baby. After hours (or what feels like it) trying to soothe them, when they finally drift off and silence reigns once again there’s something rewarding in peeking through the door, or checking your baby monitor and seeing your baby sound asleep.
The latest model to join the Out ‘n’ About range is the new GT pushchair. A good one for cruising around town or casually strolling down those country park roads, the GT has been designed with both the parent and child in mind.
