Zara Tindall says the Olympics mean another baby will have to wait

With the Olympics only next year, in Rio, Zara Tindall has admitted that the Games take priority over baby number two with husband Mike.

The royal, talking to the Financial Times, said trying for another baby is on hold until after Rio, so she can focus on qualifying for the Games. She said: “It means I won't be able to have any more children between now and then.”

Zara also discussed how difficult she found it to return to fitness after the birth of Mia in January 2014.

As well as swimming and cycling daily, Zara said: “I also try to work out on an exercise bike first thing in the morning. What surprised me about having a baby is losing all your fitness and how tough it is to get it back.”

Talking about how life has changed now she is a mum, Zara added: “I don’t know whether being a mum has made me any more cautious. What it does do is put things in perspective. If I have a bad day riding, it doesn’t matter now as much as it used to.”
