Earlier this week we reported on the first solid cheese Easter egg to be released, the huge 1kg Lindt chocolate bunny AND the avocado-shaped egg from Waitrose, and the good news continues thanks to our friends at Asda.
Joining the weird and wonderful egg craze, our friends at Asda have launched their own cheese Easter egg, and it looks spectacular.
The Cheester Egg is half cheese and half condiment, as it comes with a sticky caramelised onion chutney, plus mini oatcake crackers to go with it.
Jo Miller, Asda’s head of cheese said: ‘We’re so excited to launch the Cheester Egg. Following the incredible response to our Christmas cheese advent calendar, the Cheester Egg was the obvious next step to show our customers that we’re constantly listening and ensuring there’s something for everyone at Asda this Easter.’
The Cheester Egg will be available in store from 16th March.
