Ingredients

  • 100g white, milk or plain chocolate, chopped

  • 8 strawberries, hulled

  • 8 wooden skewers

  1. Melt the chocolate in a small bowl and set over a pan of hot water, stirring occasionally.

  2. Insert the tip of a skewer into a strawberry and hold the fruit over the bowl of chocolate.

  3. Spoon melted chocolate over the strawberry, turning it so it gets completely coated.

  4. Allow the excess chocolate to drip off, then stand the skewer in a glass in a cool place, to allow the chocolate to set. Repeat with the remaining strawberries.

  5. If you like, you could pipe swirls or squiggles in contrasting melted chocolate over the cooled and set strawberries.
