Family Lunch And A Cuddle: The Top Gifts For Most Mums On Mother’s Day

Sure, we enjoy getting chocolates, flowers and (fingers crossed) presents, but more than anything, mums just want a cuddle from their baby this Mother’s Day

While we all love being spoilt with presents and flowers on Mother’s Day – especially if it’s your first one – it’s the simple gifts that hold the most value.

A poll by Johnson’s Baby reveals that family time and cuddles are the top wish for a memorable Mother’s Day, beating perfume or flowers.

It also looked at the top 10 gifts that mums usually receive. At the top, was a bunch of flowers, a hug from their children and a box of chocolates.

But in reality, mums cherish more time with their family, and placed a traditional Sunday lunch with everyone sat round the table together as the best type of gift they could receive.

‘Mum’s are known for their selfless nature, so it’s no surprise that they aren’t looking for pricey presents to make them happy on Mother’s Day,’ says a Johnson’s spokesperson. ‘What they really want is to create another moment that they can treasure forever, one that only a child can give.’
